Shoppers can now get to Thavhani Mall in a flash thanks to the brand new bus rank that will be officially launched on Friday for commuters on 12 January 2020.
The drop-off and pick-up rank is situated next to Thavhani Mall’s lower parking. Seven associations will make use of their own dedicated taxi bay from the centre, making a trip to the mall a breeze for hundreds of shoppers.
In addition to throngs of excited shoppers, the official launch was attended by Mayor of Thulamela Municipality, Councillor AS Tshifhango, and Chairman of South African National Taxi Council, Balanganani Shandukani, along with several other dignitaries.
The seven associations using the rank include Thohoyandou, Malamulele, Sibasa-Ltt-Polokwane, Sibasa-Venda-JHB, Vuwani, Mutale, and Siloam ensuring the region is connected to Thavhani Mall like never before.
The new taxi rank will not only be a huge benefit to shoppers but also a number of the centre’s employees who will enjoy quicker commute times and the advantage of arriving right at Thavhani Mall’s doorstep. To celebrate its important new milestone, Thavhani Mall ran a special competition by giving away R400 worth of shopping vouchers daily together with a grand prize voucher valued at R1,000.

The operators using the bus rank includes Mulaudzi, Enos, Netshituni, Phadziri, Omega, Mabirimisa,Do Light, Magwaba, Machochi, Maivha and Big Lion ensuring the region is connected to Thavhani Mall like never before.
The bus taxi rank will not only be a huge benefit to shoppers but also a number of the centre’s employees who will enjoy quicker commute times and the advantage of arriving right at Thavhani Mall’s doorstep.
Makhadzi Muimbi also entertained the customers that attended the launch.
